KCSE 2024

Here is how to check the KCSE 2024 results

The Minister in charge of Education, Julius Migos is expected to release the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education 2024 results (KCSE 2024 results) today at KNEC Headquarters.

Unlike in the previous years, candidates will not be able to access the 2024 results through SMS code. This is because the Ministry of Education indicated that it was exploring discontinuing the use of SMS service to check national examination results. This was after errors were witnessed during the release of the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams.

One can also get their KCSE results via the KNEC website by following the steps below.

  • Visit the Official KNEC website (knec.ac.ke)
  • Check for the Results tab, click on it.
  • Select the year you sat for the Exams.
  • Enter your Index number.
  • Finally click the Submit button.
  • Your KCSE results should show on the screen after a while.

How to download result slips

The result slips will be available on the KNEC KCSE portal about a week after the school receives the results printouts from sub-county education offices.

Schools can thereafter download and print the result slips from the KNEC portal using the school’s login details provided during the registration of the candidates in the portal.
