Xiaomi made an entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market with the unveiling of its first-ever electric car, the SU7 sedan.
The market’s response to the car has been amazing with over 100,000 registrations and 40,000 non-refundable deposits placed by eager customers, indicating the potential for success in the EV segment.
The SU7 lineup comprises three variants: the standard model, the long-range Pro edition, and the performance-oriented Max version. Prices start at approximately €27,810 for the base model and €38,700 for the top-tier Max version, offering competitive pricing compared to established rivals. Additionally, Xiaomi has introduced a limited run of 5,000 Founders Edition vehicles at an attractive grand opening deal. Deliveries of the Founders Edition are already in progress, while other variants are scheduled to hit the roads by late April or May.
With its sleek and aerodynamic design, the SU7 presents a compelling package, emphasizing ample interior space and incorporating Xiaomi’s expertise in technology. Intelligent chassis control algorithms ensure both sporty dynamics and luxurious comfort, while extensive connectivity features allow seamless integration with Xiaomi devices plus other android smartphones and support for Apple products too.
