Kenya Cane hosts Greats’ Fest cultural extravaganza in Narok town

Kenya Cane hosted its Greats’ Fest cultural extravaganza over the weekend in Narok town.  During the event, Narok residents were treated to an immersive brand experience.

They were treated to a cultural blend of food, locally inspired cocktails – Ndugulai and Osotua. This was coupled with live music performances by local sensation King Laiso, Folk fusion artiste Ayrosh, Rhumbacane maestro Simply Yaba alongside deck master DJ Lyta, DJ Signal and MC Patrick Lelion at the Boma Resort & Lounge.

The event highlights included Laiso’s animated performance that saw revellers join him on stage, and the awarding of Paul Ole Sopia and Joel Koirag selected from the brand’s “Greats search” activation to find Kenyans working towards their Greatness.

Kenya Cane Brand Manager Davis Changalwa said, “The Narok Greats Fest has been a vibrant showcase of the rich Maa culture and people, a reminder of how beautiful our cultures are. We are on a mission to celebrate the heart and soul of Kenya through our regional activations and will continue to curate more experiences to celebrate
our rich cultural diversity.”

The cultural extravaganzas which kicked off at The National Museum last year, have been hosted in Nakuru, Thika, Kisumu, Mombasa and Kitui, showcasing Kenya’s rich cultural diversity.

The brand continues to set itself apart by offering consumers a cultural blend of great Kenyan music and cuisine paired with a legendary Kenyan spirit and great local talent with previous activations featuring Sweet Star (Nakuru), Sammy Wagithomo and Peter Kihambati (Thika), Karanga Lazima (Kitui), Kamwana (Kisumu) alongside Coster Ojwang’, Simply Yaba and the brand ambassador Savara Mudigi.

As part of celebrating Kenyans working towards their own greatness, the brand through the Greats Toast Twice campaign also recognizes and rewards consumers, toasting to the small wins and achievements that bring them closer to their ambitions and inspiring them to continue moving forward.
