Itel, the phone manufacturer has launched the itel S18, their flagship 4G model in the Kenyan market. The S18, which is a compact and stylish smartphone is the successor to itel S17 which came out last year.
In the Kenyan market, iTel is better known for producing some of the most affordable entry level smartphones, which can be bought for as low as Ksh. 5000. It is owned by Transsion, the same company that owns Tecno, Infinix, Syinix TVs, and Oraimo accessories.
This year itel received a number global recognitions which includes, Top 100 Most Admired Brands in Africa that was announced by
African Business magazine. It was also awarded at the Titans of Tech Awards as 2022 Best Tech Company of the Decade for our continuous contribution over the decades in bringing tech innovation and products to the African market. As a warmhearted brand
advocating love and corporate social responsibility, itel gained the Most Committed Brand to Humanitarian Service Award by African Brand Congress 2022.
