Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has released a list of available diploma and certificate programs at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) for the March 2025 intake.
The programs on offer at KMTC include a range of certificate and diploma courses in various health-related fields with the deadline for submissions being February 14, 2025.
Diploma courses have a minimum grade of C, and they include.
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
- Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology
- Diploma in Health Counselling
- Diploma in Health Insurance Management
- Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology – Requires a C grade in English or Kiswahili, a C- in Mathematics, and at least a D+ in Biology or other relevant subjects, such as Agriculture, Chemistry, or Computer Science. This course is available at campuses in Isiolo, Maua, Nairobi, and Siaya.
- Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing – Also requires a C in either English or Kiswahili and Biology or Business. Applicants must have at least a C- in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

- Diploma in Kenya Registered Nursing and Midwifery
- Diploma in Kenya Registered Nursing (Mental Health and Psychiatry)
- Diploma in Medical Engineering
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences
- Diploma in Medical Social Work,
- Diploma in Mortuary Science.
- Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Diploma in Optometry
- Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology
- Diploma in Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine
- Diploma in Pharmacy
- Diploma in Physiotherapy
- Diploma in Public Health
- Diploma in Radiography and Imaging
- Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
- Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics (minimum grade requirement of C-)
Psychiatry courses are being offered at Mathare, Muranga, and Port Reitz KMTC campuses. While nursing and midwifery courses are available at Homa Bay, Kakamega, Kombewa, and Mosorio KMTC campuses.
The certificate courses have a minimum entry requirement of a C- grade and include.
