OPPO has launched the Find N2 Flip in the Kenyan market, this is their foray into the flip phone market with their competition being Samsung Galaxy Flip 4.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, which has an advanced 4nm octa-core architecture. With up to 3GHz CPU frequency, performance is expected to be smooth and lag-free. It has 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal memory.
The Find N2 Flip features a 3.26 inches cover screen which according to Oppo is the biggest among flip phones. It has a massive 6.8-inch E6 AMOLED secondary display with a cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio and a silky smooth 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. This display ensures a picture-perfect viewing experience with excellent visibility in different
environments, thanks to its sophisticated anti-reflective material and up to 1600 nits of brightness.
With polished aluminum sides, a fingerprint-resistant glass cover and a unique micro-etched wave pattern across the hinge, the Find N2 Flip weighs just 191g and measuring 7.45mm when open.
Find N2 Flip’s flagship 50MP main camera features a large Sony IMX890 sensor with an f/1.8 lens for spectacular photography. With the main camera, you are able to see and capture breathtaking photos with the help of the largest cover screen in the flip phone market. When you are taking a photo or video of someone else, fire up Dual Preview so they can see how they look.
The 17:9 aspect ratio cover screen aligns perfectly with the phone’s camera sensor, minimizing cropping and maximizing detail in your shots. To enable the incredible performance of the is the New Generation Flexion Hinge, which works hand in hand with the main display to create a robust, folding screen with an incredibly subtle crease. The hinge’s miniaturized design is made up of fewer components than the original Flexion Hinge, and in its intricate simplicity, OPPO has achieved a new standard of mechanical stability. Through using this New Generation Flexion Hinge OPPO has managed to give a more compact than ever device and created more space for a larger cover screen and a higher-capacity, faster-charging battery while also ensuring it keeps dust out. By standards of TÜV Rhineland testing, the phone is certified to withstand over 400,000 folds and unfolds at standard room temperature. This is equivalent to opening and closing the phone around 100 times a day for more than ten years, it has also been tested up to 100,000 times at 50ºC and 95 per cent humidity, and at -20ºC showing the phone can withstand not only numerous folds but also extreme ends of temperature.
OPPO also iterated its New Generation Flexion Hinge to guide the screen into the gentlest folding angle possible, creating a waterdrop shaped fold that results in a significantly shallower, narrower crease than other flip phones when unfolded. In addition to being incredibly subtle to the eye, it also feels virtually imperceptible to the touch for an
uncompromised, flat-screen experience.
The Find N2 Flip comes with a 4,300mAh battery, which can confidently provide a full day of use on a single charge. Moreover, OPPO has incorporated the fastest charging technology in the Find N2 Flip – 44W SUPERVOOC. This remarkable feature can charge the battery from nearly empty to 50% in just 23 minutes and achieve a full charge in less than an hour.
