Oppo launches the Pad Air tablet in the Kenyan market

OPPO Kenya has launched the OPPO Pad Air in the Kenyan market, this marks the first foray of the phone manufacturer into the tablet market.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon® 680 chipset with an eight-core architecture and AI System Booster 2.1 which allow users to operate easily even when multitasking.

The OPPO Pad Air sports a 10.36-inch 2K HD eye care display that has passed TÜV Rheinland’s certification for low blue light eye protection. This ensures clear and smooth pictures and effectively reduces eye fatigue. In addition, OPPO Pad Air is equipped with four super large speakers and supports Dolby Atmos, delivering high-quality, layered sound with clarity and an immersive listening experience.

The device come at a light weight of 440g and is 6.94 mm, which makes it more comfortable to hold. Its rear panel adopts industry’s first 3D finishing technology with exclusive metal splicing design bringing a perfect blend of technology and aesthetics. The sunset dune 3D texture pushes the bar of design even higher OPPO Pad Air retains the metal splicing design unique to OPPO’s tablets.

The upper part of the rear panel combines 3D texture design and OPPO Glow to offer an endless sight of dunes at sunset. The beauty of the sunset pouring over the boundless dunes is truly displayed. The lower part of the rear panel has been sandblasted to leave sand particles with a diameter of only 0.15 mm on its surface, giving the panel a more metallic and appealing look and reducing the appearance of fingerprints and slipping.

OPPO Pad Air incorporates two new Multi-Screen Connect functions, namely file drag and drop and clipboard sharing, while maintaining the original unique functions for smart interactions, including two-finger split screen, four-finger floating window, and Smart Sidebar. Users will also be able to directly drag and drop photos and videos taken by the phone to the tablet for processing, making file transfers easier and faster. They will also be able to copy text on either device and paste it onto the other device bringing a seamless connection will take productivity to another level.

It has a large 7,100 mAh battery which allows you to watch videos for up to 12 hours, attend video conferences for 15 hours, or read e-books for 16 hours.

The OPPO Pad Air is available throughout the country and official e-commerce channels at a retail price of Ksh. 34,999. It is available in Fog Grey.
